Our Commitment
At For Us Nation, we recognize the challenges and uncertainties that arise with today’s political atmosphere. As we witness a resurgence of divisive rhetoric and policies, now more than ever, we are reminded of the importance of creating and sustaining safe spaces. This is the time to stand together, support one another, and truly engage in our communities to foster unity, resilience, and security.
In alignment with our mission to empower and uplift the Afro diaspora, For Us Nation is dedicated to providing essential resources, educational programs, and mental health support to our community. We remain committed to promoting cultural exchange, economic empowerment, and sustainable growth for individuals and families alike. As we pursue this mission, we are intensifying our efforts to safeguard our communities, with a renewed focus on our Do We Matter campaign. This initiative aims to protect our youth, strengthen connections, and advocate for safe spaces where open dialogue, shared values, and collective support thrive.
We also recognize the unique struggles women face today. The increasing restrictions and policing around women’s bodies and health make it challenging for us to feel empowered, safe, and fully in control of our own bodies. In response, For Us Nation is committed to supporting women’s health and safety, offering educational resources, and creating safe spaces where women can gather, connect, and share experiences. Through sister circles and dedicated events, we provide a place of solidarity and understanding for women, fostering empowerment, self-advocacy, and community-based solutions.
As we saw during the previous Trump administration, some communities faced heightened challenges, including incidents of civil unrest and violence. We are taking active steps to prevent such occurrences and to protect our youth from any potential threats. To support this mission, For Us Nation will be hosting regular meet-ups, both online and in person. These gatherings are designed to offer safe spaces for meaningful discussion about our values, our safety, and the steps we can take to uplift and support each other.
We invite you to join us on Live tonight 5PM Est and 2PM Pst, to delve into these topics, share concerns, and learn how you can become a partner or contributor to the Do We Matter campaign. Let’s work together to ensure that every individual feels safe, valued, and empowered. We look forward to connecting with you tonight as we discuss our vision, share resources, and reinforce our commitment to a secure, empowered future for our community and for women everywhere.
